If you had to pick one person to learn blogging for business from, it just might have to be Liz Strauss. She was and is a pioneer in the field of blogging and continues to be an envelope-pushing thought leader in the social media space. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just hang out and learn from her?
Well, you can. Only it’s not just her.
Liz presents SOBCon each year in Chicago. (SOB stands for “Successful and Outstanding Blogger.”) This year, 25 expert speakers will participate in her annual business school for bloggers conference from May 1-3 at the Summit Executive Center in Chicago. The theme is, “The ROI of Relationships.”
I am honored to be one of the speakers at the event. I’ll join the incomparable Chris Garrett, social media strategist and blog goddess Lucretia Pruitt, the ever-brilliant Zena Weist and my pal, social media maverick and Now Is Gone author Geoff Livingston for a Q&A panel as part of the festivities. Fellow speakers include CopyBlogger’s Brian Clark, PR 2.0’s Brian Solis, K.D. Paine, Wendy Piersall, Chris Brogan, Julien Smith … okay, enough with the name-dropping. You just gotta go to this. Check out the event details here.
The three-day event is $795.00, which for that amount of blogging, social media, branding and business knowledge is a steal. You can register here. (Five minutes with Liz is worth that much, by the way. You’re going to get tremendous value for your investment for this conference.)
Join us in Chicago for three days of learning, fun and networking. You won’t regret it.
